Machine Quilting Services
If, while browsing my site, you see any quilting motifs you’d like used on a quilt top you’ve already completed fill out a Custom Machine Quilting Request Form. I’ll respond with an estimated price, completion date and shipping instructions.
My current pricing for machine quilting services are as follows:
Single Edge to Edge Design....................................@.018 per square inch
Single Edge to Edge with coordinating Border.......@.022 per square inch
Custom Quilting.............................................................@.025-.035 per square inch
Custom quilting includes your choice of any number of single block designs, Edge to Edge, Point to Point and/ or free hand quilting throughout the quilt top, creating a truly unique heirloom quilt.
Trapunto designs are available @.04 per square inch
There are no other hidden charges. I do not charge for thread, mounting, or turning your quilt top. Minimal charges for repair to make a top quiltable are rare. I use King Tut, Signature and/or Superior 100% cotton threads.
If you don't see a pattern you like please email me with your request. I am designing new patterns daily. To estimate the quilting fee, simply choose the type of quilting you want and multiply the per inch fee by the measured length and width of the quilt top.
I prefer to use my studio batting. I use roll batting with scrim to reduce lint build up on my machine. The going rate for batting is changing because of shipping rates. A quote will be included with my initial email response. Generally my batting rates are below anything you can find because I purchase in bulk. Choose from either 100% cotton Hobbs batting or Fairfields Bamboo batting.
